This Dasara, three mainstream biggies are arriving in theaters. While Leo and Bhagavanth Kesari have already opened in theaters today, Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao is set for its theatrical debut tomorrow, 20 October.
As for Leo, it has opened to below-average-to-average reviews. It is being tipped to be a forceful entry into the LCU. But the pre-release hype and the combination factor should help it have its way at the box office.
As for Bhagavanth Kesari, the film has opened to comparatively better reviews than Leo. Balayya plays his age in the film, and despite the routine setting, the social message aspect has worked relatively well.
But the final point is that neither of the films have opened to unanimously positive reviews.
This paves the way for Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao which is set for release tomorrow. The film is being given a pan Indian release and it is based on infamous Telugu dacoit Nageswara Rao.
However, unlike Leo and to an extent Bhagavanth, Ravi Teja’s TNR doesn’t have decisive pre-release hype going its way, the film needs to open to super positive reviews if it is to emerge as the favorite for the audience this Dasara weekend.
Can Tiger Nageswara Rao overhaul the other two biggies and emerge victorious in the clash or will it be a 3-way fight? We shall wait and see as TNR’s debut is a few hours from now.
