Veteran actor who became popular as ‘Kallu Chidambaram’ after his comedian character in ‘Kallu’, Kolleru Chidambaram passed away on Monday after fighting with death for two months in hospital. He was broken both financially and health wise in the last days of his life.

Kallu Chidambaram won great acclaim and popularity for his typical body language and dialogue delivery in successful films like ‘Kondaveeti Donga’, ‘Chanti’, ‘Ammoru’ and 300 plus films to his long cine career.
He was exclusively promoted by late EVV Satyanarayana, S.V.Krishna Reddy and Relangi Narasimha Rao who created comic roles for the actor and encouraged him big way. He was last seen in 2013 in ‘Premaku Sye’ and ‘Sri Sai Sankalpam’.
