Desperate to release, film maker bribed Censor Officer

A formal court case is going to be registered on Bollywood film maker Rohit Shetty for allegedly bribing a Censor Board officer to clear his film. He is presently under CBI scanner and even the Censor Board Chief Rakesh Kumar. The investigation on director is in progress.

In Bollywood, Many film makers announce the release date of their upcoming films when the film is in the making stage.

They strictly adhere to the date. With such emergency at hand to release his film ‘Singham Returns’ on 14th August 2014 in UAE and 15th August in India, film maker Rohit Shetty is alleged to have paid bribe of Rs.2 lakh to the Censor Board Chief.
