Extremely talented Tamil hero Surya, who is dearly loved even in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has made a striking come back with Karuppu.
This may not be the brightest or most prospective film from Surya in recent years, but still, it was sufficient enough to create a sensation at the box office. The fact that it was able to collect over ₹300 crore at the ticket counters is reflective of the same.
Surya will obviously be grateful to the entire team associated with the film for delivering him tremendous success when he needed the most, but there is this one particular man that deserves a big part of this credit.
We are talking about the music director of the film, Sai Abhyankar who has done a phenomenal job. He almost put on a single hand show with regard to the musical composition of the film, which was of elite quality.
Almost every major sequence in the film was highlighted with the score that was produced by Sai. Yes, there are complaints about the inconsistency in the score in the first half, but he more than made up for it with an energy induced second half composition.
Many people can blindly agree that Sai is one of the principal reasons behind the success of this film, and Surya needs to be particularly thankful for him. The least he can do for the extremely talented music, composer is give him another opportunity for his future film.
