Sai Pallavi’s Viral ‘Leaked’ Image? Why So Much Hate

Sai Pallavi Ramayana casting discussion

Over the past decade, Sai Pallavi has become one of the most admired actresses among Telugu audiences. Known for her natural acting style, expressive performances, and simple off-screen personality, Sai Pallavi has built a strong and loyal fan base across South India.

Despite her popularity and positive reputation, the actress has also faced repeated backlash on social media over the years. A few years ago, she made a comment in an interview stating that people in Pakistan are also human beings like everyone else. Although the remark was made in a humanitarian context, it sparked controversy and got trolled from certain groups online. Since then, she has occasionally been targeted by trolls and misinformation campaigns on social media platforms.

Currently, Sai Pallavi is set to play the role of Sita in the highly anticipated epic film Ramayana, which also features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. The film has generated massive curiosity since its announcement, but her casting as Sita has triggered debate among some social media users. A section of online commentators has questioned the choice and expressed skepticism about her suitability for such an iconic character as she doesn’t carry any royal looks as such.

The situation escalated recently when a picture showing Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi dressed as Rama and Sita began circulating widely online. Many initially believed it was a leaked still from the film. However, it was later clarified that the image had been created using artificial intelligence (AI) and was not an official still from the production.

Even after the clarification, the AI generated image continued to spread across social media, with some users using it to troll Sai Pallavi’s casting. Without verifying whether the image was real or fake, several people began claiming that the film might struggle because of the casting decision.

As the release of Ramayana approaches, it remains to be seen how the film’s team will handle or respond to the ongoing online discussions surrounding the project.
