Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently opened up about the harsh judgments she faced after her separation from Naga Chaitanya. Married for five years, the couple announced their split in 2021, and since then, Samantha’s personal life has been under intense public scrutiny. She revealed how being open about her struggles brought both support and criticism.
In her latest NDTV interview, she said, “I can speak about my own journey and keep it as real as possible. Anyone who has followed my journey knows about the separation, illness, and the personal struggles I faced. All of this came with a lot of trolling and judgment simply because I was open and vulnerable.” Samantha emphasized that life is a work in progress and that acknowledging imperfections is part of growth.
Talking about her professional life, Samantha said she always commits fully to her roles, never relying on being “sexy” just for the camera. “Directors never offered me bold characters, and my policy has always been to give 100% to any role. Dedication to work is what shaped me into who I am today.” She noted that her only bold performance so far was a dance sequence in Sukumar’s Pushpa.
Currently, Samantha is producing the Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaram, directed by Nandini Reddy, and will also star in the Netflix project Rakt Brahmand. She advised young people, “Ambitions must be tied to purpose. Choosing the right mentor can change your life. Celebrities should also act responsibly on social media.” Her openness and dedication continue to inspire fans and peers, showing that being real and committed matters more than perfection.
