Sandeep Reddy Vanga, despite being only two films old, is still one of the most sought after filmmakers in Indian cinema. He has managed to carve a name for himself through his two products Arjun Reddy and Animal.

Coming to the topic now, Sandeep has managed to do something that not many other directors could do in the recent years – keep a film relevant even after a year.

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Animal and this was earmarked with a flurry of social media posts on the film. There were countless edited videos, opinions, and BTS posters of Animal that were shared on socials yesterday.

While a section was all praises on the film, calling it a cult, another section despised it and called it overrated. There were two completely polar opinions on the film that were shared the other day on its first year anniversary.

Either way, Animal could spur a debate on social media about the kind of content it had.

While not many biggies, including mega-budget films have been able to stay relevant even for six months, let alone one year, Animal was able to create as many discussions on social media that one might have confused that the film had released only yesterday. There was so much talk about the film.

This is a result of the radical and extreme content that Vanga cooks which tends to lead to discussions. Considering the kind of man that Vanga is, given that he comes across as an observer and balanced guy, he must be enjoying all the attention the film is getting.

While RRRs, KGFs, and Salaars are failing to create as many discussions after a year, Animal is easily doing it now.
