The only real blockbuster film that arrived in the wake of Baahubali, was Srimathudu. But even this film was a planned, shot and completed its business before the monumental Baahubali. Finally after all this time we have a film that is literally challenging Baahubali. The film is Sardaar Gabbar Singh starring Pawan Kalyan.
The business that the film is doing currently is almost on par with the rates Baahubali the film was done for in two Telugu states. Areas like Ceded and Uttar Andhra are reportedly sold for whopping 10Cr and 7 Cr respectively. It was okay for Baahubali as it’s was a visual wonder. Isn’t it risky to put similar amounts on a regular commercial fare?
