The teaser of Sri Chidambaram, written and directed by Vinay Ratnam, was officially launched today by Hero Satyadev in the presence of several renowned filmmakers who are widely regarded as the torchbearers of new-age Telugu cinema — Venkatesh Maha, Aditya Hassan, Vassishta Mallidi, Yadhu Vamsi, Sandeep & Sujith, Nanda Kishore, Sai Marthand, and Sinjith Yerramilli. Their presence added immense encouragement to the young and passionate team behind the film.
Produced by Chinta Gopal Krishna Reddy & Chinta Vineesha Reddy, under the presentation of Smt. Chinta Varalakshmi, with Chinta Rajashekar Reddy as co-producer, Sri Chidambaram stars Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vasishta in lead roles.
The teaser offers a beautiful glimpse into a vintage village drama wrapped in an endearing love story. It subtly teases several intriguing questions — Why does the hero wear glasses all the time? Why is he called Chidambaram by everyone in the village? — while maintaining an emotional and poetic tone that piques curiosity.
The soothing background score by Chandu Ravi perfectly complements the soulful visuals captured by Akshay Ram Podishetti.
