What if Bollywood’s biggest star, Shah Rukh Khan, teams up with one of Telugu cinema’s most visionary directors, Sukumar?
Sounds like a dream come true, right? The internet is buzzing with rumors that the two are talking for a film possibly an Anjaam style intense thriller. But is this true?

Before getting too excited, let’s look at the facts. Pushpa 2 released on December 5, 2024 and is streaming now. But Sukumar is still busy with promotions and legal issues of the film.
Meantime he is already committed to RC 17 with Ram Charan (November 2025) and Pushpa 3: The Rampage (January 2026). When would he have time for SRK?

On the other side, SRK is also busy. He has King coming up, followed by Pathaan 2 which is slated to go on floors in 2025.
If a Sukumar film happens, it would be after Pathaan 2, so that would be at least 2027. Would SRK wait that long or is this just speculation?

Would Sukumar give SRK a Rangasthalam style raw action drama? Or would he create something new, balancing South Indian intensity with Bollywood’s grandeur?
Unlike Pushpa 2, this film would need a refined high stakes narrative that matches SRK’s global appeal. But does Sukumar want to experiment outside his comfort zone?
For now it’s all speculation. Sukumar’s busy schedule and SRK’s commitments make this impossible at least in the near future.
But with Bollywood-Tollywood collaborations becoming the norm, can this dream team happen? Only time will tell.
