For the past few days, a video featuring Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey has been going viral on social media. The video shows a woman resembling Shalini Pandey appearing topless and covering her upper body with her hands while in a playful mood.
Shalini Pandey has now clarified that the video is completely fake and AI-generated. She said the woman in the video is not her and that the entire video has been digitally created. “The video is completely fabricated and does not depict me,” Shalini said.
The actress strongly condemned the misuse of AI technology. She said it is disturbing to see such technology being used to target and harm people, especially women.
Shalini has also made a strict appeal to people who come across the video. She asked them not to share, forward, download, or engage with it. Instead, she urged people to report it immediately and help stop its circulation.
Her full statement read:
“I want to address a fake, AI-generated video of me that is currently being circulated online. The video is completely fabricated and does not depict me.
It is deeply disturbing to see technology being misused in this way to target and harm individuals, especially women. I strongly condemn this kind of abuse and believe such misuse of technology should never be normalized. If you come across this video, please do not share, forward, download, or engage with it. Instead, please report it immediately. I request everyone to be responsible and mindful and help stop its circulation rather than giving it further reach.”
Shalini’s message is very clear: DO NOT SHARE. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. DO NOT FORWARD.
