Tollywood superstars tend to release not more than 1 film per year. The situation is even dire if the hero works with ace filmmaker Rajamouli, who takes well over two years to complete the project. The case of Prabhas proves the same.
In the last 9 years, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun had 8 releases while Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan had 6 and 7 respectively. Incidentally, Prabhas had just 3 releases. And two of them are Baahubali 1 & 2.
Prabhas‘s fans have been urging him to have at least 1 new theatrical release per year. And in accordance, he promised to ensure at least 1 or if possible, 2 releases per year if possible post Baahubali. But that isn’t the case. Saaho (2019) is his only release after Baahubali 2(2017).
However, Prabhas hopes to set the scores straight with multiple new releases. Radhe Shyam is up for release on 11th March and Adipurush is announced for release on August 11. Salaar is not too far from completion. Prabhas is also said to be planning a quick-fire project with Maruthi.
The macho hero plans to have multiple new releases in the next couple of years. But will he be able to do so?
