Srimanthudu has slowed down considerably post the Independence Day weekend and is now going through its final sprint at the box office. Still it is getting enough post the humongous opening that even that low numbers are enough to take it past some big landmarks.

The film has now overtaken Magadheera to become the third biggest grossing Telugu film of all time. Only Baahubali and Atharintiki Daredi are ahead and the latter happens to be the next and final target of the film now.
The trade is expecting the Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer to cross Atharintiki Daredi by the end of third weekend. It will enable Srimanthudu to become the second biggest hit of all time. This feat was previously achieved by Mahesh Babu once with Dookudu and after a long gap he is getting there again.
