Aamir Khan has recently opened up on his dream project Mahabharat as he appeared for an interview. Aamir has been on a break for almost three years now and he said that he would want to do a film based on Mahabharata.
While speaking at a press conference, Aamir mentioned that he has a lot of excitement inside himself to make Mahabharat and while he was questioned on whether he would be a part of the main star cast, he took a break for a few seconds and said, “Let’s see.”

Aamir said that he is always interested in bringing some new content for the children since films and TV shows aimed at kids are hardly made in India nowadays due to which shows from abroad are dubbed in Hindi and shown to the audience.
Apart from that, Aamir stated that he is willing to bring out new talent from the film industry as part of serving as a producer. He added that for the upcoming 10-15 years, he wants to give the best things to the industry by producing films.

Mahabharat has also been a dream project for director S.S. Rajamouli, who is currently busy with SSMB29, featuring Mahesh Babu. While Aamir’s interview did not hint at anything about a possible collaboration between him and Rajamouli, it is a combo that will undoubtedly deliver a big blockbuster.
However, nothing can be said about the character that would be a perfect fit for Aamir. Even if he plans to do a Mahabharat, it is going to take several years since Aamir is a perfectionist.

Aamir’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par has also been postponed multiple times and considering that it seems like people have to wait for a long time if they want to see Aamir in Mahabharat. But in such situations, the film’s content becomes outdated, eventually leading to the film’s failure.
In case Aamir finalizes something for Mahabharat, the best option for its success will be to approach Rajamouli. However, it is a dream that would take longer than expected to become reality.
