Bollywood’s Sultan, Salman Khan, returned to the big screens with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after a gap of four years on his favorite Eid festival. The film turned out to be a colossal disappointment and is heading towards being a big flop with less than Rs. 100 crore lifetime collection in India.
The film was thrashed by critics and audiences alike including Bhai’s hardcore fans. The film’s heroine Pooja Hegde was one of the redeeming factors about the film as she looked beautiful and performed decently. In fact, she had more dialogues in the film than even Salman Khan.
Pooja Hegde has been going through one of the worst phases in her career. She is delivering flop after flop for the last few years. Beast, Acharya, Radhe Shya, Acharya, Cirkus, and now Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She has been unlucky of late that her films with big stars also tanked badly at the box office. Some people on social media are labeling her as the jinx queen.
Pooja’s next is SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu directed by Trivikram which is highly anticipated. This might be her best and last chance to score a big hit and make a stunning comeback. Or else she will face a lot of difficulties in bagging a big project with star heroes.
However, Trivikram knows how to ‘extract’ the best from Pooja Hegde and she has always been lucky for him. So she need not worry much about its box office fate and just concentrate on giving her best.
