While the protest for Jallikattu ban to be lifted is going on vigorously all over Tamilnadu, Superstar Rajinikanth requested people to stop protesting for Jallikattu. Rajini was one of those South Indian actors who added his voice to the protest earlier.

Rajini now asked the protesters to have patience and trust on the Governments and the retired Judges who promised to make the lift of ban possible and make a permanent law for Jallikattu. Rajini expressed his distress over the recent happenings in the protest and asked the youngsters to withdraw and let the law do the work.
He appreciated the efforts and the unity of the men and women who stood up for their culture and said that the protest is a success which will be remembered forever. As the protest has been infected by intruders who are trying to ruin the cause, Rajini asked the supporters to respect the Tamilnadu police who have been supportive throughout the protest and calm down for now and leave the rest to the government.
