Jr NTR Look War 2

Anaita Shroff is widely regarded as one of Bollywood’s top stylists. Over the years, she has been responsible for crafting the on-screen looks of stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor.

From Dhoom to Pathaan, WAR, Love Aaj Kal, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil — her styling credentials are undeniable.

However, her latest work on WAR 2, particularly the styling of NTR, has drawn sharp backlash.

While Anaita has given him sleek costumes, fans feel the overall look — especially his hairstyle and facial styling — misses the mark completely.

For a character meant to match Hrithik Roshan in screen presence and intensity, NTR’s appearance comes off as quite underwhelming.

His look should have exuded power, magnetism, and raw masculinity. Instead, fans are describing it as pale, robotic, and devoid of impact.

In a high-stakes action thriller like WAR 2, where visual persona is everything, NTR needed a commanding and brooding presence — not a generic appearance.

What’s disappointing to many is that Anaita seems to have overlooked NTR’s unique aura. There’s a natural current of intensity that flows when NTR enters a scene — especially in his mass avatars. His screen presence needed to be amplified, not diluted.

A good stylist must understand the actor’s strengths and weaknesses. In this case, Anaita failed to channel what makes NTR a force on screen.

His styling should have been bold, direct, and uncompromising — matching Hrithik’s charisma with its own brand of rugged dominance.

She could have given NTR a bearded look to make him appear more magnetic and powerful, like Salman and SRK in Tiger Zinda Hai and Pathaan.

Fans are now hoping that the full movie presents NTR in a more powerful light. His look needs to evolve onscreen and reflect the raw magnetism that has made him a pan-India icon.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, WAR 2 is slated for a grand release on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. It is set for a massive box office clash with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s highly anticipated Coolie.

Let’s hope NTR’s final look in the film does justice to the towering presence he brings — one that can truly stand toe-to-toe with Hrithik Roshan.

There’s still some time left, and fans are holding out hope that NTR’s styling in the film can be reworked a bit with proper VFX and CGI and will evolve to match the scale of fans’ expectations — one that balances undeniable strength and screen presence.
