Creative Filmmaker Sukumar, known for consistently encouraging fresh talent and supporting his associates, recently watched the investigative thriller Mrithyunjay and expressed strong appreciation for the entire team.
Sukumar has always been vocal about backing his assistants when they step into direction, and his words for director Hussain Sha Kiran reflect that spirit. Calling thrillers Kiran’s forte, Sukumar said he was happy to see his associate craft a gripping story that blends suspense with emotion.
After watching the film, Sukumar also praised the film’s lead, Sree Vishnu, highlighting him as the biggest surprise of the film. He said, The surprise for me in this film is Sree Vishnu. He carried the whole film on his shoulders, and especially in the climax, he was fantastic.”
He also requested audiences to experience this thriller in theatres tomorrow. He said, “I hope you enjoy the movie in theatres on March 6th, it will not disappoint you.” This special appreciation one of India’s biggest directors boosted the spirits of the Mrithyunjay team.
Directed by Hussain Sha Kiran, Mrithyunjay brings together an exciting technical and creative team. The film stars Reba Monica John as the female lead and is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati under the banners of Lightbox Media and Picture Perfect Entertainment.
