
Talented actor, Sree Vishnu is usually popular for playing fun characters in comedy oriented films. This is more or less his real identity.
However, Vishnu appears to be going for a change now with his upcoming film, which has been titled Mrithyunjay.

The title teaser of the film was released today and it is a very brief one that goes on for just 30 seconds. But even in this brief period, we are introduced to the core character arc of Vishnu, and he appears to be playing a full on serious role this time.
When a character says things are not happening and the game is over, Sree Vishnu says “It’s not over until I say it’s over.” This is perhaps an indication that he is playing a tough nut to crack in the film and has a serious arc.

This must be a detour for Vishnu from his usual comical self, as he appears to be trying his hand at a serious cinema this time.
But apart from the brief character in introduction, we do not get much of a look into the deeper aspect of the film in this title teaser, which is understandable.

The story behind the titling of “Mrithyunjay” appears to be holding a key in the overall narrative and scheme of things.
The film is directed by Hussain Sha Kiran and it has music by Kaala Bhairava. Reba John who earlier paired with Vishnu in Samajavaragamana is the female lead this time around in this film now.
