The latest in the South Indian film industry is that SIFCC or the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to commemorate the 100 years of Indian cinema in just a few months. As a result, the establishment has been involved in constructing a new premise for itself in Anna Salai. As for the new building, the specialty is that it hosts brand new 3D theatres that can house a sum of 80 to 250 people.

Making use of the opportunity, the actor brothers Suriya and Karthi have taken the chance to pay their mark of respect to their parents by donating a sum of Rs. 1 Crore to the development of one of the screening halls. Consequently, the screening hall will be named after Sivakumar & Thirumathi Lakshmi Sivakumar.
