t was entirely like as if the fate was on actress Jyothika’s side when 10 snakes were found at a Thanjavur hospital out of which five were poisonous. Thanjavur district collector ordered the hospital to be cleaned after a hospital employee was bitten by a poisonous snake.
All this leads back to Jyothika. Why and how is Jyothika involved in all this? She wasn’t, actually. Jyothika shot for her film ‘Ratchasi’ in the above-mentioned hospital and then, she later raised the point that hospitals and schools need to be maintained like temples.
Her speech at an awards’ event surfaced recently and created a controversy. However, now it’s clear that she was, in reality, mentioning the plight of hospitals and the need to cleaning hospitals and making them as sacramental as a temple.
So, Jyothika’s earlier remarks weren’t meant to hurt any religious sentiments but pointed the need to redeem the fate of the government hospitals regarding their maintenance. She got full support form her husband Suriya and of course, their fans.
