Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who will be visiting Amaravati today for the foundation stone ceremony will have an eye on the Prime Minister who is likely to announce a special package or incentives to the state. KCR is thinking on the lines of seeking Central assistance of up to Rs 8,000 crore to waive crop loans, whatever are outstanding, at one go.

This demand if fulfilled will get the government a way to come out of the loan waiver. If not it will corner TDP and BJP about the non co-operative central government. The CM already clarified that if the Center came forward to assist financially, the government had no objection to waive crop loans at one go.
Besides the government will also seeking funds for Water Grid Project, Mission Kakatiya and additional rice quota of one lakh tonnes to supply the same to BPL families. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Telangana by the end of this year.
