Karate Kalyani who was famous for her small roles in popular movies like ‘Krishna’ (bobby dialogue fame), ‘Godavari’ (as the woman who sells hot dosas on board a ship) and ‘Leela Mahal Centre’ etc was caught gambling at one of the illegal gambling dens in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.
Kalyani is popularly who is also called as Karate Kalyani is also popular among the television viewers for daily soaps like ‘Gorantha Deepam’. Though she is a small actress in cinemas, she is a known face and hence police were shocked to see her gambling in an illegal den.
Besides Karate Kalyani, a few others who were trying to flee the den were also caught by police. Police even seized cell phones and cash from the gambling den. This happened on Sunday night in Jahangir Nagar in Vanasthalipuram area.
