Telugu Audience Eyes 2 OTT Flicks!

Ayalaan Captain Miller

The upcoming week promises a wave of major film releases, coinciding with the festive atmosphere of Sankranti. Notable Telugu films like Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, Hanu-Man, and Naa Saami Ranga are scheduled, while two exciting Tami films won’t have a release in Telugu states due to lack of theaters.

Dhanush-starrer Captain Miller and Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan are among the much-anticipated releases in Tamil due to their core story concepts.

Captain Miller showcases a compelling, action-packed narrative, following a former British soldier on a mission to protect his village from looting by the British seeking a hidden treasure.

Ayalaan, a long-awaited science-fiction alien movie, features Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, with an ensemble cast and significant visual effects, making it a unique project. The trailers of both films have turned out to be impressive and a unique cinematic experience can be expected from them.

However, the Telugu versions of Ayalaan and Captain Miller won’t be released in AP/TG due to overcrowded releases this week. The films would have generated decent income during the festive season if the public talk turned out to be good.

Both Dhanush and Siva Kartikeyan have enhanced their Telugu market value with their recent films, so this will disappoint them.

Now these two films are expected to hit screens later this month or the next. The delayed release raises concerns about potential revenue loss, considering the films might lose freshness releasing a few weeks after their original Tamil version. For now, it looks like Telugu audience will watch these two exciting films on OTT.
