The fake educational and work experience certificates scams have been around for a really long time now. Now, a Telugu director and actor was found to be involved in the same.
The director is named Ravipalli Rambhadra Rao who previously made an unrecognised film named Wife is reportedly involved in a fake certificates scam.
This Rambhadra Rao, along with Hyderabad’s locals Annam Dinesh, and Gollapalli Sravan have been selling fake intermediate and degree certificates for Rs 1-1.5 lakh each. The gang consists of 7 members and they’re believed to have sold over 80 fake certificates till date.
A youngster named Rohit Varma from Kompally bought an engineering certificate from the gang. This was tracked down by the police who then started digging deep.
The special operations team then came to action and busted the operations of the fake certificates gang.
A total of 39 fake certificates, 486 holograms, a car, 8 mobile phones, and rubber stamps were recovered from the site. Three members from the gang were arrested. The film director and others are on the run now.
