It is soon becoming common to see Telugu directors calling the shots on the sets of Bollywood films. Following in Puri Jagganath’s footsteps who directed Amitabh Bachchan in Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, other Telugu directors are also seen directing Bollywood’ bigwigs. Examples include Krish Jagarlamudi who will soon be seen directing Akshay Kumar in the Hindi remake of film Tagore as well as Sonakshi Sinha in his cautiously titled film Telugu Shivam.

Other than that National Award winner Neelakanta of Show, Missamma, and Virodhi fame will also soon be seen directing a Bollywood actress of actor according to some sources. The source also revealed that Neelkanta is very eager to remake Missamma in Hindi and plans to make a big Bollywood debut with either Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone. For the roles of Shivaji and Laya, he is thinking of pairing up Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh.
