If we look at the last ten films of Puri Jagannadh, only ‘Temper’ scored a super hit and the rest of them were mere washouts. This implies that the issue lies with the scripts. Lost in his own penchant to write scripts with a fast pace, Puri’s scripts stopped being entertaining and intriguing.
He still has the verve to come back and surprise us if he has a right script at his disposal. But, he is the writer of those scripts and for a strong come back, Puri needs to work and concentrate on his scripts more. Hope, he will take time this time and come up with something very interesting, instead of rushing up with his scripts.
