Prabhas Raja Saab

There are reports that Prabhas’ upcoming horror-comedy Raja Saab might be postponed from its April 10 release date. Some sources say that a lot of shooting is still pending, and VFX work needs more time.

Moreover, Prabhas recently injured himself, further pushing back the film’s timeline. Industry sources suggest that Prabhas, who is currently resting, is expected to resume shooting soon. However, the makers have denied any such developments.

Some industry insiders believe that since it’s a peak summer period, Prabhas’ film should be strategically released at a time when it can truly make an impact.

Siddu Jonnalagadda’s film Jack, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, has announced its release date as April 10. Siddu, who is now a bankable star after DJ Tillu, also wants to capitalize on the summer date.

Two other films are also eyeing the same release date because of the holiday period. Nithiin’s Robinhood and Sunny Deol’s Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory (who are also producing Raja Saab).

If Raja Saab gets delayed, it’s rumored that the producers might choose to release Jaat on that date instead. Nithiin is currently juggling two projects, Robinhood and Thammudu. While Thammudu is set for release on February 25, there’s speculation that Robinhood could either release on Shivaratri or April 10.
