
Tollywood has always had the privilege of finding one star glamour divas one after another to sit on the top chair when it comes to leading heroines in the industry. In the recent past, there has been lot of vacuum for the leading heroine status.
After Samantha and Pooja Hegde Tollywood did not necessarily find one consolidated actress who would sit on the top chair for an elongated period of time.

The likes of Sri Leela and Meenakshi Chaudhary came up after the sudden rise of Rashmika Mandanna but they weren’t quite on the level of Sam and Pooja.
One important classification that sets top leading heroine from the rest is the capacity to work with every leading top-6 hero in Tollywood. This is something that the young generation of the glamour dolls in Tollywood have been missing.

Realistically speaking, Pooja Hegde was the last leading star heroine from Tollywood, and ever since there has been a strong vacuum. Sri Leela was expected to sit on this chair, but she messed it up with consecutive failures at the box office.
Meenakshi Chaudhary is delivering an occasional hit here and there, but she is still not in consideration for the top chair.

Rashmika Mandanna showed great promise at the start but she was occupied with Pushpa world for five years which deprived her of other opportunities.
For now, the wait for the leading heroine in Tollywood continues as the industry is looking for one worthy candidate who would absolutely kill it in terms of commercial presentation and also pack the right prowess to attain star heroine status.
Rukmini Vasanth is a good find in this regard as she has a good facial aesthetic and a likeable face for the Telugu folk. But she is yet to prove herself as a commercial heroine which is going to be the real challenge.
