Renowned Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar of ‘Brothers’ fame is back in the highlights and this time it’s for his choice between a film and a TV show. Apparently, Akshay was offered a dance reality show but had to turn that down for an early commitment to well-known director Shankar’s much-awaited upcoming project, 2.0.

The actor, who made quite the stir this year with films like ‘Baby’, ‘Gabbar is back’, and the most recent one being ‘Brothers’, has been working on TV shows for a long time, with ‘Khatron ke Khiladi’ and ‘Masterchef India’ being some of the examples. However, it seems that Star preferred the big screen more than Television.
The role in Akshay’s preferred project, director Shankar’s alleged upcoming masterpiece, was initially other major stars like Aamir Khan, Kamal Hassan, and, as rumoured, the ‘Terminator’ fame superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger. Akshay, who was finally picked for the role, will be working with Rajinikanth in the film.
