Vikramjit Singh who is making directorial debut with Roy is a long time friend of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor. When a director has access to a big star like Ranbir Kapoor, it is more likely that the star would feature in his film one way or the other. That is exactly what has happened with the director getting the star on board for his debut venture Roy, only here the star has an extended cameo. But the way the film has been promoted so far would make one think Ranbir has a major role in the film.
Ranbir expectedly has been miffed by this promotion from the makers but still for his friends sake he is going to promote the film during its release. Now that’s a good friend right there, isn’t it?
