Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 was a huge eye-opener for the Bollywood film industry. It crashed several records at the box office that were never touched by any Bollywood film. The Hindi film industry has also been trolled for producing cringeworthy films that are no longer entertaining the fans.

Pushpa 2 electrified the Box office by earning over 1000 crores, making it an all-time blockbuster. The effects are still thundering in the box office, as it is still minting a lot of money each week. As it stands, Bollywood might have a tough outing in the upcoming years in terms of surviving and delivering big hits.

While Pushpa 2 was a huge wake-up call for the industry, trade analysts predict that the next two years will be crucial for Bollywood. According to some analysts, several upcoming films have the potential to match or even outperform Pushpa 2 at the box office in the future.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana comes to everyone’s minds as it might be the biggest hit of Ranbir’s career and after his recent success in Animal, things might turn out to be good for the actor.

Another film to watch out for will be Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2. The much-awaited sequel of the 2019 action entertainer is expected to be an all-out blockbuster at the box office given its immaculate hype and casting of Jr NTR against Hrithik Roshan.

As for Ramayana, with the likes of Sunny Deol, Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and many more critically acclaimed actors, the film will be released on Diwali giving it a massive boost to become a huge grosser.

Legendary actor Shah Rukh Khan will also make his much-awaited return to the cinemas after delivering three blockbusters in 2023. Given his recent success and star power, the project might be in line to shatter several records at the box office.




It remains to be seen if Bollywood will be able to outwork Pushpa 2 in the next two years but these films certainly have the potential to be blockbusters.
