Among these rare individuals is renowned director Trivikram Srinivas. After watching the trailer of the film Patang, and reviewing the promotional content and the film’s concept, Trivikram Srinivas was impressed. He invited the Patang team, congratulated them, and extended his best wishes.
Trivikram Srinivas noted that this was the first attempt of its kind in South India, with a concept based on kite-flying competitions. He expressed hope that the team’s efforts would be successful and stated, “I somehow feel this film will do well,” sharing his thoughts in a highly positive manner. Those who met with Trivikram Srinivas included the film’s lead actors Vamsi Pujit and Pranav Kaushik, director Praneeth Prattipati, costume designer Meghana Seshavapuri, one of the producers and head of Rishan Cinemas, Santap Maka, and the film’s VFX supervisor and executive producer Nikhil Koduru.
Presented by prominent producer D. Suresh Babu, Patang is being produced as a prestigious collaboration by Cinematic Elements, Rishan Cinemas, and Monsoon Tales. The producers of this sports drama are Vijay Shekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Kothinti, and Nani Bandreddi.
Popular director and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, along with noted singer and actor S.P. Charan, will be seen in key roles in the film. Released today as a Christmas gift, the film has received a strong response as a youthful entertainer.
