Recently, Kalki 2898 AD producer Aswini Dutt made a statement that 40-60% of the shooting for the second part is complete and it will be out within a year.
However, in stark contrast, director Nag Ashwin stated during a Q&A with the media yesterday that he still needs to refine the story and has many ideas in mind, indicating that shooting will take time.
These conflicting statements about the same sequel have caused confusion among the audience.
