This veteran editor who had won many awards for his prowess in editing, is presently working for his son Akshay Akkineni’s directorial debut film ‘Pizza’ in Bollywood.
This eight time National Award winner opines that his editing needs to be very tight and crisp as his son’s debut film is a thriller. He doesn’t like meting out a special treatment for his son and make it a family project. Sreekar infact wants to live up to the expectations on his reputation. Very few fathers get the oppurtunity to give the finishing touches for their son’s work. Unique experience indeed! ‘Pizza’ is a 3D suspense thriller where the wrong delivery of a pizza begins a series of events and a horror filled night. The film is sealed to release on July 18, 2014.
