Upendra’s Shocking Message: “Don’t Send Us Money”

Upendra and Priyanka cyber fraud case

Kannada actor-director Upendra and his wife Priyanka have become victims of cyber fraud. The star, who recently appeared in a cameo role in Rajinikanth’s Coolie, revealed that their phones were hacked through a fraudulent call.

Upendra explained in an Instagram Story that Priyanka first received the suspicious call. She was asked to enter a combination of numbers and hashtags, unknowingly giving hackers access to her device. Later, Upendra’s phone was also compromised.

He warned fans not to respond to any messages asking for money from their numbers. Upendra assured that a police complaint would be filed soon and urged everyone to remain alert about such online scams.

Priyanka also updated followers while heading to the police station with Upendra. She advised people not to trust any unusual messages claiming to be from them.

This is not the first such case in the industry. Actress Lakshmi Manchu and Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan were also targeted by hackers recently. Both had issued alerts on social media, warning fans to be cautious about cyber fraud.
