If we move aside Dangal and look at our Telugu releases, there are three releases on Friday and one on Saturday. Vangaveeti, Sapthagiri Express, Okkadochadu, and Pittagoda are those films.

Among these four films, Vangaveeti is far ahead of the rest. Controversial subject plus Ram Gopal Varma’s previous attempts at the handling of such controversial subjects have made it the first choice among Telugu releases. In Krishna district, it is miles ahead as one would expect but the lead in other districts has come as surprise.
