Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer Gopala Gopala which is the remake of Bollywood’s critically acclaimed film Oh My God was launched in a low-key affair recently. The makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to make this film one of the most anticipated films of the year – thanks to the presence of Pawan Kalyan. If the latest buzz in the industry is anything to go by, Venkatesh has been contemplating on roping in his son Arjun for the role of his son in the film.
The participation of Arjun in the film’s launch is also adding some weight to the news. Shriya Saran is playing the female lead in this film that is tipped to be a satirical comedy-drama. Pawan Kalyan will be seen as Lord Krishna in modern avatar and those in the know say that his screen presence would be for just 30 minutes. The film also has Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborthy in a pivotal role as spiritual guru.
The principal shooting of the film has already begun and the makers are planning to wrap up the film in a single, uninterrupted schedule. Dolly of Thadaka fame is donning the director’s hat for this film that has music by Anup Rubens.
