Vijay Devarakonda was always designated for better things in Tollywood. But things have not been going exactly as planned in recent times with his most recent Kingdom, which had a lot depending on it not functioning as expected.
But nevertheless, Vijay is able to secure multiple projects that are in different stages of production now, and he has announced another new project today.
This new collaboration is with Director Shouryuv who made Hi Nanna with Nani earlier. This project is going to be one of the upcoming films from Vijay after his ongoing commitments.
Vijay already has two ongoing projects, Ranabaali and Rowdy Janardhan. While the first is a periodic action film, the second is a commercial template action film. And now we have this cross genre film with Shouryuv.
These three projects might sound interesting on the paper, but the real challenge will come down to execution and grabbing the right chord with the audience.
A portion of the charismatic expectation on Vijay might have eroded to an extent due to the recent run of films but still there’s room for explosion. It would all come down to the kind of success that he can generate with his upcoming films.
All we can do is patiently wait and see if he can actually script a strong comeback from here as he embarks on what appears to be the most decisive series of films in his filmography.
