Instead, he spent several months holding discussions with different stars and developing multiple ideas. During that phase, one combination especially grabbed attention: a possible collaboration between Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vivek Athreya.
The combination surprised many because Vivek Athreya is considered a Gen Z director known for unique screenplays, quirky writing, emotional depth, and subtle humor rather than full-scale mass entertainers. However, industry buzz suggests he developed a commercial action drama specifically designed for Balakrishna’s larger-than-life image.
