M9 News Journalist Nishant spoke with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao Director Vamsee. We spoke about how he is inspired to write the story of a dreaded robber Tiger Nageswara of Stuartpuram who lived in the 1970s. Vamsee explains the characterization of Tiger Nageswara Rao and why he took the story from Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas to Ravi Teja.
Vamsee also explains his career choices like Dongata and Kittu Unnadu Jagratha, and the struggles he faced during the toughest phase of his life.
“During the lowest phase of my career, Ravi Teja trusted me. People were doubting my capabilities. He stood by me and supported me. Today, Tiger Nageswara Rao is because of him,” Vamsee revealed.
Regarding Tiger Nageswara Rao, he also explained the commercial packaging he did for the film, portraying Ravi Teja as a character out of his comfort zone, etc.
“Ravi Teja is one actor who is capable of much more than what we saw. When his movies failed, it was the failure of the directors. There is another Ravi Teja inside him and I used that Ravi Teja for my film and he rocked for sure,” he said.
Vamsee also confidently said he is not worried about Tiger Nageswara Rao’s clash with Vijay’s Leo and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari at the Dussehra Box office.
