NTR’s Devara has completed its opening weekend run at the box office and it has been a largely lucrative one. The film has posted very impressive numbers over the course of the first three days and 80% recovery is done so far.

The communication from the makers is that the film has grossed over Rs 300 crore globally at the box office in the first three days.

The domestic Telugu collections have been huge, despite the drops on the second and third day which is understandable given the heavily front-loaded mechanism of Telugu films.

The positive thing is the Hindi market which has been going up progressively to wrap up an impressive Rs 29 crore nett opening weekend at the Hindi box office.

The USA box office collections are at an impressive $4.4 Million with the precise Sunday tally yet to be out.

The contribution from the Tamil and Karnataka has also been solid enough. The film touched Rs 1 crore gross in Kerala in 2 days which is an impressive feat for a Telugu hero film.

At the global box office, the Rs 300 crore weekend is rather a good one for Devara and it all comes down to how the film holds up over the first Monday to decide its date.
