SS Rajamouli and NTR attended the screening of RRR at Los Angeles’s iconic Chinese Theatre on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, where they were cheered by fans.
After the screening, Rajamouli, addressing Sri Valli (Keeravani’s wife), said, “I have been trying to get her on the stage for many years, but I failed. I request my mother to come onto the stage for the first time.”
The western media mistook her for his real mother and started posting on social media that Rajamouli got his mom to join him on stage in front of a sold-out crowd after decades of trying.
Rajamouli and Keeravani are cousins. SSR has tremendous respect for Keeravani’s wife and treats her as his mother. She is his sister-in-law, and they were a joint family. So out of affection and respect, he calls her his amma.
