
Dasara festival falls on October 14th but it will be celebrated in the second week of October itself thanks with the release of two big budget movies of Attarintike Daredi and Ramayya Vastavayya. Pawan Kalyan’s prestigious movie which was supposed to releasee on August 8th is slated for screening from October 9th, exactly with a gap of two months. Junior NTR’s much awaited movie Ramayya Vastavayya will be released on October 10th. It was originally scheduled to be released in July itself.
Film analysts say agitations would come down normally during festival season and it would help producers to fetch good returns with family audience wanted to see movies in the holiday season. Samaikyndhra and Telangana protesters may not object the release of movies but getting high returns is not so easy with the drop in money circulation among the people. Government employees may not get salaries even in the first week of October. It will be cascading affect on business activity also. But producers and exhibitors say there is no other option except to release the movies to off set loss of interests.
