In a world of rising crimes in technology and social media, it’s only fair that crimes should be solved with the help of it. A man named Gopal Valmiki, 25, had allegedly masturbated in front of an American woman (Click Here to Read ) in Colaba at about 8 in the morning. The lady posted the incident along with a picture on her Twitter which went viral rapidly.

The issue caught the police’s eyes and within a few days, Valmiki was caught via a WhatsApp group one of the policemen had created. Pravin Bhalerao had been a member of the Colaba police station for 3 years and had spent a long time befriending residents in Colaba who were all in a WhatsApp group with him. The picture was uploaded on the group and with the help of the information given by the locals, the police figured he lived in the Bhid Bunder area and soon made the arrest.
