In a recent interview, actress Shriya Saran who had the luck to star in the veteran’s last movie reminisced how ANR completed his shooting sitting on wheel chair after he was diagnosed for cancer and doctors gave him only two months. She clearly remembers in detail, how it was painful and stressful for her to see the legend working because he liked to die working not in a hospital.

She also says that Nag who couldn’t see his father’s pain in his last days knowing his days are counted, told her he wanted to shoot himself with a gun. Besides the pain, Shriya found it was fun to work with the legend who was always the best for his sense of humour. She thinks ‘Manam’ is blessed by ANR’s soul and she could feel the goosebumps during the premiere held in Hyderabad.
