The TRP ratings of the third season premiere of Bigg Boss are out. They are the best for the show yet. The Big Boss 3 has a new host, Akkineni Nagarjuna, this time.
The season 1 marked the foray of Young Tiger NTR into the Television world. It recorded a TRP of 16.18, which was fantastic at that time. The second season had Natural Star Nani take over the mantle. The opening night episode saw a decline as the rating fell to 15.05. And now, King Akkineni Nagarjuna as host has put it back on the top with a 17.92 rating, the highest among three seasons.
Multiple factors have worked in its favour. Nagarjuna already had a successful stint as host with Meelo Evaru Koteeshwarudu. In the long run, Big Boss 2 became the talk of the town with Kaushal becoming an overnight sensation. The curiosity to know about the new contestants for the third season also helped the cause.
Whatever may be the case, the initial bang has been created with Nagarjuna as host. It now needs to be seen if the contestants can sustain the hype or not.
