Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who previously battled Myositis, has returned to work. Sharing the news on her Instagram Stories, she expressed her joy in resuming her professional endeavors.
Samantha revealed that she had been “completely jobless” since announcing her hiatus from acting. However, she excitedly disclosed her involvement in a health podcast, set to premiere next week.
Samantha announced her acting break in July last year after completing filming for the Indian adaptation of the streaming series ‘Citadel’.
While Samantha’s return marks a milestone, the fate of the much-anticipated web series ‘Citadel’ remains shrouded in mystery.
Amidst considerable anticipation, the show’s launch garnered significant attention in 2022. However, following the lackluster reception of the English iteration featuring Priyanka Chopra on Prime Video, the status of the Indian version starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha has remained secretive, leaving fans yearning for updates on its progress.
Maybe the makers want the Indian audience to forget the mediocre Hollywood version and that’s why they have been mum about the Indian Citadel.
