Heroes like Ravi Teja and Srikanth are actor Uttej’s contemporaries and had been friends for long. Uttej remained a normal actor but the other two became heroes and financially well settled. What is the reason? Does Uttej have any regrets that he couldn’t make to the stature of playing a hero?

Speaking on the same, Uttej revealed that his wife asks him why he didn’t become like Ravi Teja and Srikanth. He understands that wives have this habit of comparing with others. But, he also feels that it was fate as he got married early and soon followed the children.
His friend, comedian Venu Madhav had back to back hits and hence became a star comedian. “Even Venu Madhav agrees that I can emote well and he can’t do that though he has good comedy sense,” said Uttej while talking about how he didn’t have consistent hits.
