Naga Shaurya is keenly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Krishna Vrinda Vihari. The film has garnered good buzz, thanks to an impressive trailer. Also, Shaurya is aggressively promoting the film through a Pada Yatra across the Telugu states. M9.news sat down for an exclusive interview with Shaurya and here’s what he had to say.
“I am very confident about Krishna Vrinda Vihari. The trailer was the first glimpse of what we have in store and I am glad that it struck a chord with the audience. I play Krishna in the film, while Vrinda is the female lead, played by Shirley. The journey between the duo forms the story,” Shaurya said.

We then asked him about his reaction to the fact that Jr NTR’s wife Pranathi is a huge fan of his. Shaurya was pleasantly surprised after hearing the same and he replied “It’s great to hear this. Yes, our families are very close.”
When asked why he doesn’t involve Tarak for the promotions of his films, he replied “I have immense respect for Tarak. He saw mega stardom right when he was 25. It takes great mental strength to continue it. I will bring him for my promotions when I am on a winning spree. The day I bring him for my event, it is going to be grand and huge.”

Krishna Vrinda Vihari is set for release on the 23rd of this month. Shaurya says this film is a complete entertainer and it would be real fun to see him in the role of a Brahmin. He says working with Avasarala Srinivas in the past, who was also a Brahmin also helped him play this role more effectively.
